As a Product Manager, you understand customer needs like no other and are able to translate these needs into clear epics. Your goal is to guide the scrum team to deliver the best results in the most efficient way. As a Product Manager, you play a crucial role within our scale-up organization. Only by delivering a well-functioning product can we meet the ambitions of our dynamic and international organization.

Who are we looking for?

Managing and prioritizing the product backlog continuously holds no secrets for you. You are familiar with Agile methodologies and lead the scrum team. Good communication skills and leadership abilities are essential to excel in your work. You are capable of translating QuandaGo’s commercial strategy and customer requirements into concrete features that can be realized by your team. Furthermore, fluency in English, familiarity with stakeholder management, and IT experience are important. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and 3 to 5 years of work experience are desirable.

A day as a Product Manager:

You don’t live from day to day but from sprint to sprint. You start the day with the stand-up of your scrum team. After the stand-up, everyone in the scrum team starts working on the user stories planned for the sprint. You focus on addressing impediments, managing the product backlog, prioritizing stakeholder requirements, and keeping stakeholders informed. You monitor the progress, quality, and functionality of the products you are responsible for. You translate customer wishes into user stories and plan and facilitate scrum events. Through effective retrospectives, your team continues to improve. Building mutual trust and fostering a positive team atmosphere are values that are important to you, so you ensure that everyone can enjoy their work.

Your workplace:

Our office is located in Capelle aan den IJssel at Rivium Quadrant. Although it may not sound very lively, from our office, you have a great view of the Rotterdam skyline and the van Brienenoord Bridge. The office is easily accessible by car, and parking is free. If you don’t have a car, our office is also reachable by public transportation. You are welcome to work at the office every working day if you prefer, but it’s not mandatory! We will provide you with a laptop and a mobile phone, allowing you the freedom to work remotely occasionally. As we value personal connections among our colleagues and prioritize (work) enjoyment, physical presence in the office is desired on our weekly team days.
