QuandaGo Appoints Former Genesys Executives to C-Level Positions

Pete Wermter Named Chief Marketing Officer and Michel Van Roon Promoted to Chief Customer Officer for Contact Center and CX Automation Software Provider 

Rotterdam, January 11, 2021 QuandaGo, a cloud contact center and process automation software provider, today announced the appointment of Pete Wermter as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and the promotion of Michel van Roon to Chief Customer Officer (CCO). Following its recent ranking in the Deloitte Technology Fast 50, QuandaGo finished 2020 with strong double digit year-over-year revenue growth. The new executive level appointments are designed to build on this growth, supporting the company’s aggressive international expansion plans for 2021 and beyond.

Today, QuandaGo offers an ‘all-in-one’ platform for omnichannel contact centers, knowledge management and process automation, serving customers in the retail & direct-to-consumer, financial services, travel & logistics, BPO, utilities and local government sectors.  

Pete Wermter Named Chief Marketing Officer

Pete Wermter joins QuandaGo as CMO following 18 months serving as a strategic advisor for the company. Mr. Wermter’s experience includes more than 15 years in the contact center and customer experience software industry, having served multiple marketing leadership roles at Genesys, including Vice President of Marketing, Director of Field Marketing for the Asia Pacific region, and Director of Global Communications. Following Genesys, Mr. Wermter served as Vice President of Communications for cyber protection software provider Acronis and vice president of Marketing for hyperconverged infrastructure provider Virtuozzo. 

Michel van Roon Promoted to Chief Customer Officer

Michel van Roon, who previously served QuandaGo as Global Sales Director, has played an integral role growing the company’s overall business by developing the global sales organization and building an international partner ecosystem. Van Roon brings QuandaGo deep experience in global sales, partner sales and international business development at both software and hardware providers, including sales and partner leadership roles and mid-market business development for Genesys.
